Paper Pot
June 16, 2009
Many products try to dress up tissues but this is by far my favorite! The Paper Pot from Japan is designed to be used for both toilet paper and tissue paper.

The Perdur lid to this tape dispenser by Norman Foster pushed the tape up for use. When removed, the tape sinks down, allowing the box to be covered by the lid.

Nice Bench
March 13, 2008
I have a thing for benches that can be used for seating and/or tables, probably because I lack seating in my house and I like the dual use. I like this one especially because of the hollow middle where I could hide things out of sight.
Nice Bench $5,800
Bachelor Pad
March 13, 2008
The accessories on my desk are basically made from samples I’ve found lying around, so I want this…but my samples were free and work fine….so….
Bedup
March 11, 2008
You’d think I lived in an efficiency the way I’m drawn to space saving contraptions. Here’s a bed that stores in the ceiling above. This is nice because it doesn’t require any clear space or the moving of any furniture for you to fold out the bed, unlike a regular murphy bed.
Matroshka
March 11, 2008
This is a compact living system, containing an L-shaped sofa, double bed, dinner table, four stools, total seating for 12, home office workspace, wardrobe and a bunch of storage, Matroshka is a compact living space’s dream come true; in its most compact form, it takes up just about 43 square feet.
Flou Bed
March 3, 2008
Under my bed is a wreck. I would love to have this bed and be able to easily store and access everything under there….and this probably wouldn’t accumulate all the dust bunnies….
Flou Salina $4724

Hollow Utility Table
February 28, 2008
I like this take on a desk drawer….hide all your stuff in the desk instead of in the drawer….even the stool has storage….
“Clean lines and contrasting tones of dark and light Bamboo are used to show volume and accentuate negative space.”
Hollow Utility Table $900
UtiliTILE

Stealthswitch
February 18, 2008
If I wasn’t doing just fine with my total slacking off, I’d have to get myself one of these….
Quickly install the software and plug the hidden foot switch in (it goes either between the keyboard and your computer, or just into an available USB port) and you are safe. It hides in the shadows and just a light tap of your toes will let it work its magic. Based on your preferences, it can hide the current window, hide all windows, or hide all windows except for specified windows. Not just minimize, mind you, but totally erase from your screen. The Stealth Switch can also mute the sound, hide the taskbar, hide the desktop icons, and password protect the restore function. When the coast is clear, another quick tap and you are ready to frag in peace.

Invisible Speakers
February 6, 2008
A friend of mine was complaining to me awhile ago about her husband wanting to hang obnoxious looking surround sound speakers in her living room, so when I saw this I thought of her. I’d think you’d just be able to knock a few holes in the wall and install but I haven’t looked into it….
Lucidity transducer speakers simply mounts behind the wall surface to deliver a truly invisible audio experience.
Did I mention I like to hide things?
February 4, 2008
not a very good retrofit item, but if I ever build I’d want these
I like to hide things….
February 4, 2008
my current entertainment system is falling apart….I was thinking I would like this one….although since it’s from Ikea it’ll probably fall apart in a couple years too.
