Paper Pot

June 16, 2009

Many products try to dress up tissues but this is by far my favorite! The Paper Pot from Japan is designed to be used for both toilet paper and tissue paper.

The Perdur lid to this tape dispenser by Norman Foster pushed the tape up for use. When removed, the tape sinks down, allowing the box to be covered by the lid.

‘Kattbank is a modern bench designed especially to conceal the cat litter box. The litter box is hidden within the contemporary lines of kattbank, which is cleverly vented to provide adequate airflow for the cat’s health, yet does not give up any offending odors.’

Flat Wire

March 18, 2008

This flat, low-voltage wire is so thin that you can add light fixtures or home-theater equipment wherever you want without cutting holes. Just stick it on a wall or ceiling and then conceal it beneath a coat of drywall mud and paint.

Nice Bench

March 13, 2008

I have a thing for benches that can be used for seating and/or  tables, probably because I lack seating in my house and I like the dual use. I like this one especially because of the hollow middle where I could hide things out of sight.

Bedup

March 11, 2008

You’d think I lived in an efficiency the way I’m drawn to space saving contraptions. Here’s a bed that stores in the ceiling above. This is nice because it doesn’t require any clear space or the moving of any furniture for you to fold out the bed, unlike a regular murphy bed.

Stealthswitch

February 18, 2008

If I wasn’t doing just fine with my total slacking off, I’d have to get myself one of these….

Photobucket

Quickly install the software and plug the hidden foot switch in (it goes either between the keyboard and your computer, or just into an available USB port) and you are safe. It hides in the shadows and just a light tap of your toes will let it work its magic. Based on your preferences, it can hide the current window, hide all windows, or hide all windows except for specified windows. Not just minimize, mind you, but totally erase from your screen. The Stealth Switch can also mute the sound, hide the taskbar, hide the desktop icons, and password protect the restore function. When the coast is clear, another quick tap and you are ready to frag in peace.

Invisible Speakers

February 6, 2008

A friend of mine was complaining to me awhile ago about her husband wanting to hang obnoxious looking surround sound speakers in her living room, so when I saw this I thought of her. I’d think you’d just be able to knock a few holes in the wall and install but I haven’t looked into it….
