My Paper Bag

February 25, 2009

I’m completely smitten with Ramon Middelkoop leather bag that was designed to look like a paper bag. It can be purchased through goodforall …. which unfortunantly is not in Eenglish.

Wrapping Gifts….cont.

December 23, 2008

Alright so here are some more of the wrapping ideas that I’ve accumulated… sorry I can’t link to where I found them

simple silver tissue paper  spruced up with ribbon (I don’t particularly like the ones they’ve used but you get the idea)

I also found some great tags on Etsy

Braille Notebooks

June 5, 2008

WIth a cover made from pages of braille editions of magazines like Seventeen and Rolling Stone, the 32 pages inside each notebook are made from reclaimed paper which is smooth for writing, doodling or working out life’s complex mathematical formulas.

Solar Shoji Lanterns

June 4, 2008

Solar Powered!! I hate having to drape extension cords everywhere, which is why these caught my eye…

Hang this Japanese-inspired solar-powered lantern from a trellis or tree and enjoy its moonlike radiance. Yellow LED lights are encased in paper-like, weatherproofed nylon and automatically switch on at night. Includes AAA rechargeable battery and metal hanger. Folds flat for storage.

Time Waster

April 17, 2008

I just saw this cute idea for making butterfly paperclips over at How about orange… and I suppose it’s a complete time waster since I rarely paperclip anything outside of work and I don’t think my boss would appreciate the butterflies….

Engraved Moleskins

April 9, 2008

Engrave your book has custom engraved moleskins notebooks.

I thought they’d make a wonderful wedding present for a couple I know but then after I did the math I realized I would be paying $50 for a notebook…sure it has their faces on it but figured I’d just buy something off their registry instead…(of course I didn’t have the idea myself…here’s someone else)

oh they also have standard designs to choose from which are less expensive….

Linkable Lined Notebook

April 3, 2008

The front cover pocket linking system allows you to slip the back side of one notebook into the front pocket of another, providing a way to link up several notebooks.

The accessories on my desk are basically made from samples I’ve found lying around, so I want this…but my samples were free and work fine….so….

Thinker or Stinker

February 26, 2008

Thought these were hilarious….and yet a really good idea. Of course I write on my hand all the time so putting a roll of paper anywhere is a good idea for me.

Recycle Center

February 25, 2008

I need to recycle more. Right now I only do my cans (which I get paid for) and I know I should do so much more. I really like the simplicity of this recycle center but spending $169 is going to take cashing in a lot of cans. For those of you that aren’t as poor as me…..
