Jackson Stripe Rug
September 29, 2008
The Jackson Stripe Rug from Crate and Barrel has hand-tufted stripes take their color from the other side of the rainbow, graduating from muted to bright and back again. Wool is blended with durable modacrylic for the look and luster of New Zealand wool, without the shedding.
Vintage Belt Floor Mat
September 2, 2008
This handsome, handmade floor mat, by Inghua Ting, is made of artfully assembled vintage leather belts that have been rescued on their way from waist to waste. Its rich tones, textures, and tread-friendly patina evoke the look of a wonderfully worn wood floor, albeit with a decidedly warmer under-foot feel. Each Vintage Belt Floor Mat is a one-of-a-kind creation, and as such, colors and characteristics will vary slightly from those pictured.
Ann Sacks

I was exploring what was under my rugs the other day and was quite disappointed to find that there is not hardwood in my foyer. Then I came upon this picture of a gorgeously tiled entry, and now I’d love to see my foyer tiled.
I don’t have the patience for that mosiac and was on LotusHaus today and saw a tile by Ann Sacks that might do the job quite nicely if it wasn’t so expensive! I’d like the black and white zigzag paccha for the foyer but liked the others as well.
