Balcony mounted Grill
April 30, 2008
I just saw this great grill on Materialicious. It’s perfect for someone with no space for a full size grill.
Bunk Wall Bed
April 3, 2008
The Literal range of wall beds, designed by Lievore-Altherr-Molina, have a clean and uncluttered contemporary design. They are fitted with gas pistons for closing the bunks flat against the wall. They can be fitted with side panels to hide the beds when in the folded position but I’m rather fond of the beds left open without the side panels.
Magazine Rack Bench
April 1, 2008
I think I mentioned before that I really like objects that have a dual function, which is why I like the Magazine Rack Bench. I especially like the grove detail at the back of the seat to store the book your currently reading.
I’m afraid I can’t help you with any purchase information, but if you can read chinese (?) then here ya go
Kaboost
March 25, 2008
It really drives me insane that they have all these great things for kids now that my kids are too old for them.
Here’s a product called Kaboost, that takes any four legged chair that you already have and creates a booster seat.
Kaboost $37.95
Chaise & Tabouret
March 24, 2008
This chair has an auxiliary stool that comes out of bottom of the chair. The upper part of the stool slides without effort into a groove under the chair, with a small stop keeping the two seats together.
Scoop Quadro
March 21, 2008
Here’s a different take on the sofa bed. The Scoop connects the two sofas by a removable chrome-plated zip fastener outfitted with a hook system for the bed set-up. There are cylindrical chrome-plated legs for the fixed element and small brake wheels for the mobile element.
Portable BBQ
March 11, 2008
The Portable BBQ is a fully collapsible grill that folds down to about the size of a folding chair with the grill plate being stowed away inside.
Portable BBQ $40.23
Bedup
March 11, 2008
You’d think I lived in an efficiency the way I’m drawn to space saving contraptions. Here’s a bed that stores in the ceiling above. This is nice because it doesn’t require any clear space or the moving of any furniture for you to fold out the bed, unlike a regular murphy bed.
Matroshka
March 11, 2008
This is a compact living system, containing an L-shaped sofa, double bed, dinner table, four stools, total seating for 12, home office workspace, wardrobe and a bunch of storage, Matroshka is a compact living space’s dream come true; in its most compact form, it takes up just about 43 square feet.
Alternating Tread Staircase
March 10, 2008
I actually thought I had already posted about an alternating tread staircase and when I found this new spin on it that included storage, I realized I hadn’t. So here is the orginal alternating tread staircase that I saw…
and here is the latest one I just saw that incorporates storage. See how you’d probably only use these if you were short on space, adding some storage seems ideal.
